From the Military to the Municipal Court

So glad you found my website! I’m Judge Josh Lanzinger, running for re-election to the Toledo Municipal Court November 5th.

Toledo is my home. I’m a  graduate of St.Francis de Sales High School and the University of Toledo Law School. I believe in  SERVICE to my country from the time I served in the US Army, and  now to my community from 2013 when I was first elected to be a municipal judge serving Toledo, Ottawa Hills and Washington Township.

In my 20 years in the legal profession, I’ve learned that people want to be heard in court and have their cases understood. They want honest decisions made by someone who acts without bias or favoritism. In the thousands of cases I’ve handled  I’ve been that kind of judge.

I was the Toledo Municipal Court’s administrative and presiding judge  from 2017 through 2018 when we balanced the court’s budget and returned unused funds to the city treasury. I also initiated the first court-wide amnesty program that cleared thousands of nonviolent criminal cases. Being responsible to my community is very important to me.  I hope to earn your vote on November 5th .
